Snake Medicine-(-a poem about transformation)

I am the snake shedding her skin-

Scraping it off against rocks and roots-

freeing myself from the places where it’s hooked, clinging, jagged.

Ridding myself of the excessive baggage which prevents smooth sailing.

-I have to be ruthless, sometimes it hurts.

I am not what you think I am-

I am not that story –

Not that, Not that.

I am what’s underneath

the essence of life.

I am free sparkling me-

I am creation- eternal- infinite, flexible, unlimited.

My new skin is thin, fresh, moist,

Senstive.

Extra-sensory, I discover.

I feel myself now — I must

Love myself into existence-

In the warm sun.

By Being -still and alone.

Don’t hassle me.

Let me be.

I am what I am.

Thank you.

An awakening is taking place on earth, within our blood and bones. Within our lives it's taking place on the macro and the microcosmic levels.
Subconscious doodle practice reveals underwater wonderment- this ones’ a little scaly. Eyes everywhere beneath the surface there is awareness waking up. Find it in your own art. This is mine. Pencil on paper.

Notes on the poem: Awareness in process: An awakening is taking place on earth, within our blood and bones. Within our lives it’s taking place on the macro and the microcosmic levels. They call it The Great Turning.

Feel it in the water, feel it in your bloodstream, feel it in your heart. Don’t let it stop. Feel it, even when it is scary. Like a snake, just observe. Go deep, beyond fear and ego. Don’t take it personally. Snakes don’t take things personally. It’s just happening, we can’t escape. We have to go through it. Keep feeling into it all. Enjoy the process. It free’s us all in the end. Just observe the process within the body on the microcosm.

Observe it In the macrocosm in world news- there it is. Whatever it is. We must feel it too. Feel what is real. Truly feel, and then you will know what is actually real and what is not. There is a lot that is not. Feel what is true. Feel and you will know.

In the end we return to the centre. And we remember who we are. We are not all the those external things, all those identities, all those stories. We are only light, we are only love. We are realising a new reality. There is something in the water. As the icebergs melt in the antarctic. Million year old water coming into the flow. Water holds memory. The same water has been circling the earth since the beginning. Our ancestors drank from her, and our great grand children must be able to too. We pray for their chances of life here.

She- the water – is Godlike- ancient, and she is returning to life. Like an awakening taking place through the earths water. She takes many forms. Liquid, solid, clouds of mist, dew on the blossoms in spring, thoughts, tears, blood, urine, plasma. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg!

She is older than the earth. She is the essence of life.

The message I receive is that in order to save the world and bring back peace on earth, we must clean our own waters, as we do this, we trigger a chain reaction into the macrocosmic level of the earth’s ancient and elegant systems.

We can begin by cleaning our blood,

start with the kidneys and then the liver, then the heart, and then the mind.

Imagine -if everyone on earth did this -logically, if we got out of the ego minds and into our hearts,

there would be no more war. (Even if enough of us worked on themselves this way- it would shift the paradigm. A critical mass would tip the scales.)

As we clear our energy – we are find our way home.

Connecting with true source instead of seeking energy that is not ours to take.

Energy is power. Ancient fossilsed energy belongs to the earth.

Yet it is a cause of war. Even as we have the technology to move beyond all that.

However, the plants are our allies, they can help us clean our blood and our energy.

We must be conscious of the quality we put in our pipes. (This is a message from the grandfathers, who only used the best tobacco. Yet it’s a metaphor. Don’t poison your body with toxins. Be discerning.)

Our pipes are all our tracts and our veins and the tracts and veins of the earth are reflecting this.

We must humble ourselves enough to stand on our knees beside the river and the ocean and the silver streams and say prayers to the waters within and without- because the microcosm is a reflection of the macro, and as we clear the microcosm everything is connected like a chain reaction. This is the best work we can do right now for world peace and for the planet. We are all related. We are all related, the plants, the animals, the waters, the stones, and all the peoples. The peoples in the East, the peoples in the West, the peoples in the North and the peoples in the South. We are all from the same source. Water connects us all. We are all sacredly connected. Feel it so we can heal it.

I am sorry, please forgive me, I love you. Thank you.

And then listen, listen to the song of the waters. What is she telling you?

Allow it to flow. Allow the truth to grow. Feel what is real. Feel what is real. Feel it in your heart and you will know.
